GILD Bookbinders is a family company. The leading players are Zenya (she looks at you at this very moment --->), who is responsible for design and production, and Alain, who deals with everything related to “talking“ and “writing“ (yep, this is my text you are reading :) We have been binding books and journals for many years and continue to be enchanted by the magic of leather and paper. Having sold thousands and thousands of books to tens of countries around the world, at one point our lives started to change.

The feedback that we received from people around the world started to form a certain pattern – phrases like “I have never held anything like this in my hands before” and “thank you for the inspiration that you have given me” and “your book is the best present I have ever given” became increasingly prominent. We began to understand that we are part of something greater than just the production of beautiful books. Our books are sources of energy and inspiration – we have been able to transmit the magic that we feel ourselves when we make the books.
